This project runs with a Laptop. This have to be connected with a bluetooth-GPS. The system it’s run by Max MSP that analyses the incoming GPS information and unveils the soundscape composition as long as the walker/listener stays among the given coordinates.

To make this project become real it has been used the following gear and software: Fostex FR-2 Field Recorder, Zoom H4 Handy Recorder, a pair of KM 130 Neumann Omnidirectional Mics. Ableton Live, Logic Pro 8 and Max MSP. For the GPS enable engine it has been used a Garmin Etrex Trekking GPS-r, and a Bluetooth Holux GPslim 256 SatNav.

Very soon it's going to be a downloadable application with a manual on how to set up the system and a map of the route..

Requirements: Laptop with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, a GPS with bluetooth connection and headphones.
