The whole composition is designed to be heard at the Hermitage of Braid. This rule is applied by Max MSP. This interactive software analyses GPS data and triggers sound as long as the walker/listener is among the co-ordinates in which the composition is meant to be heard.

In this map you can see the main route of Walking Compositions. The waypoints along the route are used as a kind of approximate landmarks in where the composition is shifting.

The Walk is about 20 minutes long and it’s about 1.5 km long. The whole path is wheelchair accesible.
