I'm happy to announce that I am working on my new album entitled "Agost". The album will be published as a physical edition in a few months by catalan label Spa.RK and will feature 7 tracks. For this album I invited a handful of very talented musical collaborators including pianist and composer Lucy Claire, my dear cellist Sara Galán, and Spanish guitarist Fernando Junquera aka "Negro" and a few more to be announced shortly. Finally, mastering of the album will be delivered by my dearest Jaume Muntsant aka Nigul.
The album will be a shift in my approach on field recordings, setting them apart to explore more abstract languages. All sound sources beyond the classic instrumentation of my collaborators come straight from a 1-minute-long sound file with the sound of rubbing the edge of a coup of wine. Some of you might have heard early versions of this project in concerts held at Villena (Alicante), Laboral (Gijón), Naranjo (Madrid), La Oficina (Almería) or Etopia in Zaragoza (video above).
